Welcome back to our blog about Spain! We just made it to Valencia just a few hours ago. Today we went on a trip to a fortress and learned about it's history, for example castle guards would sit right behind the doors. They had a lot of tactics to help defend the castle. And they had a lot of violent techniques to fight off intruders including boiling sand and right angle corners that forced right handed warriors to leave themselves wide open to slaughter when trying to fight

A Structure Like No Other... and Lots of Bus Time!
Today started off blissfully slow, as we didn't have to leave the hotel until ten o'clock. Our leisurely start led into a beautiful countryside drive as we travelled to C ó rdoba. Palace, Passion, Performance...
Hello everyone! Today was our first full day in Spain and it was full of fun activities. Opera Scouts in Seville!
Welcome to Opera Scouts Spain Blog! Our trip began with an early morning at the San Francisco Airport. The scouts met up at 8:30, excited to begin our trip to Spain! From there, we spent a total of 15 hours in the air, with layovers in New York and Paris. At each layover, groups headed out to explore for food.
